While in the area the following BC Adventure Members invite you to stay with them:

Morehead Lake Cabins & Campsite - Morehead Lake, northwest of Williams Lake, is situated in scenic Cariboo Country. Our resort offers comfortable, self-contained cabins, RV & camp sites, a licensed restaurant, a laundromat and row boat & canoe rental.

Fishing Report: Jacobie Lake is a very productive wild stock lake with rainbows averaging in the 1 lb. range. Fly fishing, spinning and trolling light gear. A great family lake, especially for the young fisherman. The rainbows may not be large, but there are lots of them. Early summer and fall are the best months. The lake slows down during hot weather.

Be sure to visit Fishbc.com for angling information!

Viewscape: 50% of the lakeshore has been logged, with the rest heavily forested in Douglas Fir, Spruce and Willow.

Shoreline: Loamy forest soil over gravel deposits.

Nearby Lakes

Morehead Lake , Gavin Lake, Bootjack and Polley Lakes - All of these lakes can be accessed off the Likely Rd. All have fair to good 2WD roads (unless there has been heavy rain causing the roads to deteriorate badly), campsites and car top boat launching. The village of Likely is close by providing services and facilities. Morehead Lake has Cabins, camping, restaurant and laundromat.

Morehead Lake Cabins & Campsite - Morehead Lake, northwest of Williams Lake, is situated in scenic Cariboo Country. Our resort offers comfortable, self-contained cabins, RV & camp sites, a licensed restaurant, a laundromat and row boat & canoe rental.

These lakes are much the same as Jacobie: high producers of small 1 to 2 lb rainbows. Great family fun, great family fishing lakes. For directions to all the Likely Rd lakes, ask at the communities of 150 Mile House, Big Lake, Morehead Lake and Likely. You will be guaranteed lots of fish and a great time.

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
