A Provincial Park is located
on the east side of the lake with access off Highway 97. Camping,
picnic, swimming and boat launch are located at the park with other
motel facilities available nearby.
Fishing
Report: The rainbow in Ten Mile Lake will often go to
five pounds. Although fishing slows down in the summer, September
and October often prove very productive.

Viewscape:
The rolling hills covered in aspen, cottonwood, Douglas
fir and spruce make a scenic backdrop to this popular lake.
A number of private residences are dotted along the lake.
Shoreline:
Gentle gravelly slopes cover the shore. Bullrushes, cattails
and pond lilies are in evidence in the shallow waters. Milfoil is
also evident in the lake. Beaver dams are often found at the lake
outlet.

Hush
Lake: Hush Lake is a small lake north of Ten Mile Lake
on Hwy 97. It is about 24 km (14.88 mi.) north of Quesnel. Watch
for the Ministry of Highways rest area on the west side of the highway.
This tiny lake has been stocked with Eastern Brook Trout, and makes
for a delightful flyfishing experience in a canoe or small row boat.
This is definately not a trolling and power boat lake. Expect brookies
that are about half a pound, two pounds if you're really lucky.
