Canim Lake offers resorts, accommodations and full facilities and
services including camping and boat launch facilities at various
locations on the lake.
Fishing
Report: Fishing with trolling or spinning gear is popular
on Canim Lake for rainbow trout and lake trout, while fly fishing
can produce rainbow trout, particularly early and late in the season.
Kokanee have also been re-established. Small boats should use caution
in windy weather.

lakefront log cabins and fly-in outpost cabins year-round. The
lake view and surrounding countryside is spectacular and there’s
lots of wildlife to see. Adventures include horseback riding,

Resort - Our 3-star full service hiking & fishing resort
has year-round accommodations & a summer lakefront campground
with pull-through hook-ups. There’s trail rides, swimming, boat

Viewscape:
The forest surrounding Canim Lake is comprised of fir, pine, spruce,
aspen and cottonwood with brack and alder on mountainous terrain.
Shoreline:
The immediate shoreline of this 37 km long lake has many rocky outcropping
with sandy soil.

Fish: You have to hike into this small lake that offers
excellent fly fishing for rainbow. No facilities are available and
it is advisable to ask for specific directions for this lake off
the Pendleton Lake Road.
Succour:
Located northwest off the Hendrix Lake Road on a rough
logging road, this wild stock lake has good rainbow fishing all
summer with flies and spinning lures being most effective. The small
Forest Service campsite has an area for cartop boat launching .
Howard
- This lake noted for its fly fishing, is located
on the south side of Canim Lake. The busy Forest Service campsite
is RV accessible with a boat launch; motors restricted to 10hp.
Rainbows can reach five pounds and better.
