Nearby Lakes Victoria Lake - contains large cutthroat and rainbow trout and is accessed by a logging road from Port Alice. Nearby Benson is a 77 ha. (190 ac.) lake located southwest of Port McNeill where Dolly Varden, cutthroat and rainbow trout are abundant. Kathleen Lake provides excellent fishing for Dolly Varden, rainbow and cutthroat trout during the spring and fall months. Large cutthroat trout are resident in Maynard Lake which is located 25 km.
