A B.C. Provincial Park lies between Kentucky and Alleyne Lakes.
This campsite is heavily used during long weekends and summer holidays.
Access to the park is by an all weather gravel road which can accomodate
any size recreational vehicle.
Fishing
Report: A high use lake, Kentucky is stocked annually
with 8000 Pennask Rainbows. Trolling with small lures and spinning
gear is the most popular method used on the lake, but fly fishermen
have also met with success. Kentucky is considered to be somewhat
slow, however it quite often produces large trout in the 4-5 lb.
range.

Lakes
Alleyne
Lake - Alleyne Lake,
54 ha. (1333 ac.) in size is found lying due south of Kentucky.
Stocked with 15,000 Pennask Rainbow per year, Alleyne is managed
for a low catch rate but with moderate to large trout.
Bluey
Lake - Bluey Lake, 29 ha. (72 ac.) in size, at an elevation
of 991 m. (3251 ft.), is accessed via a branch road off the road
to Alleyne Lake. First stocked in 1942, Bluey is now being stocked
with 20,000 Rainbows per year. Management's aim is to provide
both quality and quantity and is considered a high priority. Today
the lake supports a very good Rainbow fishery for trout from 2-6
lbs. Bluey has a 12 vehicle BCFS campsite with cartop boat launching.
