(9.3 mi.) south of the resort village of Whistler. Access is via a gravel road leading east off Highway #99. This will take you to a large parking lot. There is a final hike of a couple kms. to the lake. Float tubes and canoes can easily be packed to Cheakamus on this well groomed trail.
