 Alpine
Rafting is a small, personal rafting company that operates on
the Kicking Horse River, minutes from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort,
and a short drive from the Alberta British Columbia border. We
offer British Columbia’s biggest and best whitewater getaways!
The “Alpine Focus” for the last twenty years has been
to exclusively guide the Kicking Horse River. The Whitewater Thrills
found on the Kicking Horse are ranked BC’s best and biggest.
Our
trips have been designed to introduce our guests to one of North
America’s most beautiful and challenging rivers. We take
pride in our attention to detail to ensure that you have the finest
possible experience. The guides of Alpine Rafting are waiting
to share their love of the river with you, with a commitment to
your safety and comfort.
 Many
of Alpine’s guests return year after year to experience the
Kicking Horse River with friends and family. Our trips range from
half to full day trips, from a relaxing scenic float to a seemingly
endless stretch of whitewater. Depending on the trip you select,
you may encounter eagles or ravens, mountain goats or deer, hoodoo
formations or waterfalls. The river is static in nature, its flow
is ever-changing and no adventure down the river is ever the same.

day on the river with our guests, we don’t rush our day so
we can run more trips. At day’s end, choose to join us on

the “Kicking Horse Challenge” … a spectacular 27
Kilometer wild journey through Yoho National Park and the Canadian
Rockies. Nearing Golden the river calms, the canyon opens giving
us a chance to smile and reflect on the thrills of the Kicking
Horse River Challenge! We recommend this trip to anyone seeking
the most action packed, adrenaline filled day of Whitewater Rafting
in the Rockies!
Our
Daily Whitewater Adventure has all the ingredients for an unforgettable
river experience! Our day begins on the calmer sections of the
Kicking Horse River in beautiful Yoho National Park as we roll
along sparkling glacial waters and learning to work as a team.
Our knowledgeable guides provide interesting river knowledge,
area history and hone your skills for the afternoon’s excitement!
Join us for a full day of excitement and ride a whitewater roller
coaster second to none! Recommended for first-time and seasoned
rafters!
 The
Ultimate Whitewater departs daily from our office in Golden, BC.
A short and scenic drive to our Private River Launch Site and
then prepare to get soaked on the Middle Canyon of the Kicking
Horse. The rapids are relentless Class 3 and Class 4 including
Portage, Shotgun, Roller Coaster and MANY more! Our adrenaline
filled rafts are then loaded and an un-runnable section of the
Kicking Horse is driven around. Our Launch site to the Lower Canyon
is dramatic, with the entire river constricting into the steep
and thrilling Lower Canyon. Large waves dominate this section,
Bar None BC’s Best and Biggest Whitewater Action.
BC’s
best family value is our Introduction to Whitewater. If you are
looking to get rolled and splashed in a safe, friendly and spectacular
environment this is the one best suited to families! This trip
combines unbeatable value and fun into one morning. Scenic floats
are also available.
We
also offer Mountain Bike Tours in Canyon Creek. This exciting
single track takes us high onto the west side of the Rocky Mountain
Trench and offers premiere riding alongside a spectacular canyon.
For those interested in Guided Mountain Hikes, we have several
levels of difficulty and terrain. From a gentle ridgewalk to strenuous
peaks we have something for everyone!
