From the chalet deck, you can enjoy a splendid view up the river with no other human habitation in sight. You will enjoy hiking a network of hiking trails that radiate from the Chalet. And if you prefer trout fishing, the deep pools of the river produce some excellent catches. Clearwater River Chalet was designed as a wilderness retreat for people seeking vacations in an isolated area away from modern distractions. Here you will find no television, no telephone, no cell phone service, no newspaper and poor radio reception. And you can't even drive to the Chalet. Access is by a 30-minute walk from the end of a private 2 km road off the park road.
