The Campbell River tour is suitable for almost everyone from 5 to 95 years old! The crystal clear water provides a unique opportunity to snorkel with thousands of salmon, or to view salmon and other wildlife. The Oyster River is a great introduction to rafting with a novice paddle trip on Class II waters. Three different tours are waiting for you to explore with the Nimpkish River. There's class II to IV rapids, great scenery, wildlife (including black bear, elk, cougar, deer, eagles and more!), swimming, caving, cliff jumping, kayaking and rapids ranging from family splash to the more adventurous whitewater! Finally there's the Southgate River which winds through the Valley of Falls draining glacial meltwater adjacent to the Great Bear Rainforest. The river has abundant wildlife, including grizzly bear, wolves, deer and eagles. Along with riverside views of glaciers, waterfalls and mountain ridges along the entire corridor, there's great fishing at the many small tributaries. Destiny River Adventures also invites you to experience their Half Day Float Tour where you'll explore the canyon before running the fun splashy river section past the island. Other half day tours offer the opportunity to Raft and Snorkel with the Salmon on Campbell River. The crystal clear water allows for easy viewing of the salmon in the river environment from the raft - or you can don a wetsuit and snorkel in the river pools teeming with hundreds of salmon.
