McLeese Lake Resort, with it's quiet lakefront setting is the ideal starting
point to a family getaway or rainbow trout fishing vacation. Located
in the beautiful Cariboo Country in the interior of British Columbia,
McLeese Lake Resort is just minutes from other excellent fishing lakes,
spectacular scenic drives, 3 golf courses, horseback riding and various
tours of local resource industries. And, the resort is conveniently
located right off the Cariboo Highway 97 between the communities of
Williams Lake and Quesnel.
As
a family friendly resort we offer large grassy areas for children
to play, gatherings and sports such as volleyball, horseshoes and
table tennis. There are also quiet areas for relaxation and reading.
A restaurant and convenience store are within easy walking distance.
The Cariboo is one of British Columbia's most beautiful regions. Rich in BC's Gold Rush history, the Cariboo region is also a paradise for outdoor recreation.
At
McLeese Lake Resort you can make the most of your vacation. There
is a motel located on site and we are excited to introduce our newly
renovated clean motel rooms, with all of the amenities included. Lots
of parking, as well as laundry facilities.
We are also pleased to provide lodging for one and all, in our fully
furnished cabins. Each of our cabins has a pleasant atmosphere and
exquisite view of the lake. Accommodations for single, double or
family occupancy is available. Our cabins are available seasonally
for your leisure and sporting needs.
There
are 55 RV sites for single to group occupancy. Water/Sewer/Power
and pull-thrus available on selected RV sites. All RV sites have picnic
tables and fire pits. Firewood is available at the store. Beautiful
lakeside tent sites are available also. Some with water and power
hookups. Fire pits, picnic tables and garbage disposal in each site.
Clean and modern washroom facilities are available and have pay
showers.
One
of the many advantages of being a lakeside resort is the fishing.
McLeese Lake is one of the best fishing lakes in BC. There are
two main species of fish found: Rainbow Trout &
Kokanee Salmon for your fishing pleasure. For a leisurely float
around the lake with your loved one, or to satisfy the urges of
the avid fisherman, canoes, paddle or motor boats are available
to you during your stay at McLeese Lake Resort.

Held on the May long weekend each year,
6:30 am - 8:00 pm Saturday and 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Sunday.
Both adult and kids (15 years and under) categories - lots of prizes,
cash prizes for top fish in each category!
