Prince
Rupert
"Where Canada's Wilderness Begins"
is located along the Northern Coast of British Columbia, Canada
and a bit southeast of Alaska. Seashore Charters provides
access to some of the most remote, beautiful, natural, and culturally
diverse regions in the world. This is a community and region with
a colorful past and an alluring environment. It is also the gateway
to some of the most impressive scenery in BC's northwest
and an area that welcomes thousands of tourists from around the
world to experience the natural beauty, adventure opportunities,
and the First Nations culture.
Seashore
Charters features a selection of sightseeing excursions which introduce
the visitor to the culture, history, wildlife and natural splendor
that makes Prince Rupert such a spectacular place to visit! Our
Grizzly Bear Viewing Tour in the Khutzeymateen takes you to North
America's first Grizzly Bear Sanctuary - it's a must for anyone
who loves the coast and the magnificent bears that dwell there.
Get on board our 4 hour Marine & Whales Discovery Cruise that
showcases the wonderful waters and Marine Wildlife of Pacific Northwest.
Come with us as we search out the mighty behemoths of the deep.
With
Seashore Charters you can visit Pike Island where you will take
a step back in time as you walk through the ancient Rain Forest
that the resilient Tsimshian People have called home for thousands
of years. Visit Petroglyphs and relax at a recreated Cedar Longhouse.
You
can also kayak along the traditional water route that has been used
for centuries and visit Petroglyphs along the way such as the famous,
"The Man Who Fell From Heaven" - or take a Kayak Tour
and explore the far side of Prince Rupert Harbour to discover the
seclusion of McNichol Creek Bay and Salt Lakes Inlet.
We
also invite you to consider our "Group Only" Canoe Excursion
and Rainforest Walk. We'll travel in style in a 29 foot Voyageur
Canoe, and your professional Canoe Guide will safely navigate you
across the harbour as you assist in the paddling. Once on the other
side you will have a short time of exploration with the canoe, followed
by a guided walk in the Rainforest, and then a snack of crab, hotdogs
roasted on the fire, as well as s'mores.
The
North Coast region of BC is legendary for big salmon and even bigger
halibut, making Prince Rupert a sport fisherman's paradise! In addition
to all five species of salmon, you can fish for halibut, lingcod,
several species of rockfish and even crab. Let Seashore Charters
make all the arrangements for you to enjoy a great half or full
day on the water.
Seashore
Charters is pleased to welcome visitors to the Prince Rupert region
of British Columbia, Canada
and proud to offer you cultural
and natural discovery excursions that highlight this beautiful coastal
region and Traditional Tsimshian Lands.
