Welcome to Tsimshian Haidaway Fishing & Adventures located at Haida Gwaii … the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia - and in Prince Rupert. This Haida Gwaii group of islands, located on the west side of British Columbia, is one of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in the world.

Other than the crazy amount of fish you'll be catching in the Queen Charlottes or the Prince Rupert area, trophy salmon, halibut & rock fish, we're hoping you'll take the time to enjoy our breathtaking scenery, the atmosphere, and our hospitality. The marine and wildlife diversity surrounding the waters and forest of the Queen Charlotte region of BC make it a marvel of the world.

Our 28 foot boat the "Haidaway" is one of the driest, safest and seaworthy boats and it was specifically designed for traveling in extreme conditions. The "Haidaway" has passed all Canadian Coast Guard requirements and is run by a certified Captain. It also is fully equipped with safety equipment, which is easily accessed.

A typical day on a saltwater sport fishing charter with Tsimshian Haidaway Fishing & Adventures will start between 6 and 8am depending on the tides and the time of year, and if the crabbings good we'll even bait and set the crab traps so that we can retrieve them on the return of the trip. Our sportfishing vessel is rigged with all top of the line fishing equipment and navigation technology, and is fully enclosed and able to seat up to 6 people. It was specifically built for comfort and is suited for the entire family.

During the months of May and June, the Haidaway will take you to the unbelievable fishing waters of the Prince Rupert area for trophy salmon, halibut & rock fish. Then in July and August we head over the Queen Charlottes for the great fishing there. While you fish you can also see some of the world's most beautiful unspoiled countryside. Haida Gwaii / Queen Charlotte Islands, along with the Prince Rupert region, abound with wildlife including bald eagles, sea lions, seals, porpoises and a variety of whales.
