Welcome to White Saddle Air Services. Our home base is located at Tatla Lake, in the Chilcotin region of British Columbia, and from there we provide air charters to the Coast Mountain Range and the West Chilcotin Plateau. For over a quarter of a century we have been flying people in and around the Coast Mountains. Located near the base of Mount Waddington (British Columbia's highest peak), this very remote region of western Canada offers the adventurer some of the richest wilderness grounds in the world. Cast your eyes, and camera, upon BC's unbelievable scenic beauty. From stunning mountains, glaciers and glacier fed lakes... this is where dreams come from.

Since the 1970's, our two pilots Mike and Dave King have accumulated over 25,000 hours of flight time. White Saddle is pleased to provide air service to those wishing to photograph the beauty of this region, who want to enjoy extreme sports, or who are involved in the logging, forestry or mining industry. We operate a new 2005 Bell 406 L-4 Long Ranger helicopter, the newest aircraft of its type in Canada. This helicopter can transport up to six passengers to remote locations anywhere in the British Columbia Coast Chilcotin region. With our Cessna 180 we are also able to provide sight seeing trips for up to 3 passengers. All of our aircraft are designed to operate in high altitude and mountain wilderness conditions.

Our services at White Saddle Air include fire fighting, forestry, mountain climbing, back-country hiking, heli-cycling, heli-kayaking and skiing, fishing, wilderness photography, mining exploration and on location filming are areas in which White Saddle Air Services excels.

Mountaineers have been flown into several mountain ranges in the Coast Range including Mount Waddington. Climbing group's from all around the world fly with us into the Waddington Range, Pantheons, Queen Bess, Homathko and the Niut Rages. Our helicopter is able to transport people almost anywhere in these mountain ranges. Fixed wing sight-seeing flights allow you to see Mount Waddington, or fly over remote glaciers, alpine meadows and wilderness at its finest.

Some of the best backcountry skiing in the world is available in British Columbia's Chilcotin and Central Coast Mountains, and White Saddle Air Services can get you there. White Saddle Air Services can also fly into the Homathko for ski traverse trips. In this spectacular region, you can enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. For your convenience our aircraft is equipped with an approved ski basket for transporting skis and snowboards, and we maintain a private mountain radio system for your safety.
