Teardrop Lake

Location: From the city of Prince George take Hwy. #97 North to Chief Lake Road. Turn west (left) and follow Chief Lake Road to connecting secondary roads that lead to Teardrop Lake, approximately 90 km. (56 mi.) northwest of Prince George. Road signs to the lake are posted along the way.

Size 38.4 ha. (94.84 ac.) Shoal 22.4 ha. (55.32 ac.)
Mean Depth 5.5 m. (18.04 ft.) Max. Depth 10 m. (32.8 ft.)
Game Fish Rainbow Trout Fish Stocked Rainbow Trout
Angler Usage Moderate Elevation 796 m. (2610.8 ft.)
Ice Over November to Mid-April T.D.S. 78 mg/L.

Resorts & Campsites: A small BCFS campsite with a boat launch can be found on the lake.

Nearby Lakes

Youngs & Sawmill Lake - Youngs Lake, located southeast of Teardrop, also contains good numbers of Rainbow trout. Nearby Sawmill Lake has a small open BCFS campsite that many people use while fishing the area.
