Dahl Lake

Location: From the city of Prince George travel west on Hwy. #16 for approximately 42 km. (26 mi.). Turn south (left) onto the Norman Lake Road and travel about 17 km. (10.5 mi.) to the lake. Dahl and Norman Lakes are connected.

Size 242 ha. (597.74 ac.) Shoal 179 ha. (442.13 ft.)
Mean Depth 4.5 m. (14.76 ft.) Max. Depth 23.5 m. (77.08 ft.)
Game Fish Rainbow Trout, Whitefish Fish Stocked None
Angler Usage Low to Moderate Elevation 799 m. (2620.7 ft.)
Ice Over November to Mid-April T.D.S. 102 mg/L.

Resorts & Campsites: A Provincial Park containing picnicking and day use sites is present on Dahl.

Fishing Report: Dahl Lake supports a good Rainbow fishery with trout reaching 1+ lbs. Whitefish are also present in the lake.

Nearby Lakes

Norman Lake - Norman Lake is connected to the west end of Dahl. It contains good quantities of small Rainbows that average in the 1 lb. range. Resorts and private campsites can be found at nearby Bednesti Lake.
