Tagai Lake

Location: From the city of Prince George travel west on Hwy. #16. Turn south (left) onto the Blackwater Road. Continue southwest for approximately 86 km. (53 mi.) to the lake via secondary roads off the Blackwater Road. Watch for signs.

Resorts & Campsites: A medium sized BCFS campsite with a cartop boat launch is situated on the east side of the lake. Access may be difficult during wet weather.

Fishing Report: Good success on the fly, or trolling for Rainbows up to 2+ lbs. The best months to fish Tagai are late spring and fall.

Nearby Lakes

Lintz Lake - Lintz Lake is located just east of Tagai and provides excellent fishing for Rainbows up to 2 lbs. A medium sized BCFS campsite with a gravel boat launch can be found on the north side of the lake. A small, treed BCFS campsite can also be found on nearby Meadow Lake.
