ARMSTRONG
Travelling 23 km (14 mi.) north of Vernon on Highway 97A will bring you Armstrong. A museum and gallery, golf course, and exhibitions are just some of the features attracting many to this quaint town.

CAWSTON
Located on Highway 3 just southeast of Keremeos, Cawston is primarily an agricultural community. During the mid 1800's, this area was the site of a Hudson's Bay Company store. Cawston is noted for it's outstanding tomatoes and peaches.

CHRISTINA LAKE
The townsite is located on Hwy 3, on the eastern shore of Christina Lake, one of the warmest and clearest lake in BC. There is swimming, fishing, biking, waterskiing, boating and golfing enough to entertain the entire family.

ENDERBY
Located 13 km (8 mi) north of Armstrong on Highway 97A, Enderby is located on the banks of the Shuswap River. This commercial centre for agriculture and forestry is also popular for its boating, hunting, fishing and wilderness vacation resorts.

FALKLAND
The farming community of Falkland is 42 km (26 mi.) west of Vernon on Highway 97 and 75 km (45 mi.) east of Kamloops. The forested surrounding hills are full of easily accessible fishing lakes and opportunities for hiking, biking and exploring.

GRAND FORKS
Grand Forks is an attractive valley town named for its location near the convergence of the Kettle and Granby Rivers. It can be reached by Highway 3, west of Castlegar and east of Osoyoos, and offers a swimming pool, skating rink, picnic sites, hiking, cross country & downhill skiing, hunting, and waterskiing.

GREENWOOD
Nestled in the mountains east of Osoyoos and west of Grand Forks, Greenwood is now Canada's smallest city, but when it was incorporated in 1897 it was a mining boom town. Many turn-of-the-century buildings have been restored.

Grindrod
This small farming community is situated on the shores of Shuswap River in a lovely valley. Travel north of Enderby on Highway 97A to reach Grindrod, Mara Lake and Sicamous where you connect with Highway # 1, the Trans Canada.

HEDLEY
Hedley is located on Highway 3, approximately half an hour from Princeton. The community lies at the foot of a towering mountain in the valley of 20 Mile Creek. Hedley was once a thriving mining town and visitors can still see the openings of mining shafts and mine buildings on the montain side.

KALEDEN
Kaleden is located on Highway 97, approximately 10 minutes south of Penticton on Skaha Lake and provides visitors with various resort facilities, beach access, restaurant service and gas.

KELOWNA
Kelowna is the Okanagan's largest city but has all of the charm and warmth of a smaller town. Located on the shores of Okanagan Lake, Kelowna has become a popular place to live and a favourite tourism destination. All the facilities you could require are available in the charming city.

KEREMEOS
Located on Highway 3 between Hedley and the Highway 97 junction, Keremeos attracts visitors interested in history, rocks, hiking and sun-worshipping. The nearby waterways attract avid anglers and canoeists. Keremeos fruitstands are a favourite with travellers.

LUMBY A short drive (25 km/16 mi.) east of Vernon is the friendly community of Lumby. With its small town congeniality, this is the perfect place to get away from it all. The forest product industry welcomes visitors to tour its lumber mills and events such as Lumby Days and Snow Fest are fun to attend. Pan for gold, go camping and hiking or arrange to tour the old mning digs in nearby Cherryville.

OKANAGAN FALLS
Okanagan Falls is surrounded by orchards, ranches and vineyards. The visitor can explore the many well-preserved heritage buildings, and tour fine wineries and the several fruit confection facilities.

OLIVER
Oliver is located between Osoyoos and Skaha Lakes on Highway 97. Nearby lakes such as Tuccel-Nuit, Gallagher and Vaseaux Lakes are popular with visitors interested in canoeing, boating, fishing, windsurfing and other water sports.

OSOYOOS
Located on Highway 97 in the south Okanagan Valley, only five minutes from the Canada/US border, Osoyoos is a thriving retirement center and orchardist area. Located on the shores of Canada's warmest lake - Lake Osoyoos - the community offers a variety of recreational opportunities.

OYAMA
Nestled along Kalamalka Lake, Oyama is home to waterfront RV/campground resorts and busy fruit stands. Oyama is conveniently located just 23 km (14 mi.) north of Kelowna on Highway 97 and offers a variety of services and facilities.

PEACHLAND
Peachland is located 25 km (16 mi.) north of Summerland and only minutes south of Kelowna. The town borders Okanagan Lake and within is a variety of shops, services, accommodation, restaurants and pubs. Camping facilities are located nearby.

PENTICTON
Penticton is 20 km (12 mi.) north of Okanagan Falls on Highway 97 - the perfect sun, sand and surf destination. With Okanagan Lake to the north and Skaha Lake to the south, this city is a leisure and recreation mecca.

PRINCETON
Princeton lies 134 km (83 mi.) east of Hope, 283 km (176 mi.) east of Vancouver on Highway 3. Located in a natural setting of mountains and rivers, Princeton is a great choice for outdoor activities. A wide range of facilities and services are available.

ROCK CREEK
Located at the junction of Highways #33 and #3, the tiny community of Rock Creek offers accommodations and services to those travelling between the Okanagan and the Kootenays. Nearby is the Kettle River and a beautiful riverside park and campground.

SUMMERLAND
Summerland is located on Highway 97, 15 minutes north of Penticton. Set among orchards and vineyards and surrounded by sandy beaches, rolling hillsides and pristine lakes, the Summerland area is perfect for exploring, hiking, camping and fishing.

VERNON
The city of Vernon is located in the north Okanagan and surrounded by three lakes; Kalamalka, Swan and Okanagan. Visitors enjoy a host of summer and winter outdoor activities, as well as fresh fruit and produce throughout the summer and fall.

WINFIELD
22 km (14 mi.) north of Kelowna is the small community of Winfield. Close to golfing, fishing and skiing and beaches the community has much to offer those who like the activities and conveniences of a small place but still wish to be close to a large centre.
