Sun Peaks Resort situated in the Thompson Okanagan region of beautiful British Columbia has some of the best skiing facilities in the province. Located approximately 50km north of Kamloops, Sun Peaks Resort offers year-round activities for all ages, making it an excellent vacation spot. Almost half a billion dollars of investment makes Sun Peaks a vibrant and elegant destination resort. Three mountains and 3,678 acres of skiable terrain are centred around a picturesque, ski through village of charming walkways, shopping, spas, and high quality condos, hotels, chalets, and town homes. Dining options include cafes, fine dining, family friendly restaurants, and pubs.

Being the fastest growing resort in Canada doesn’t mean we want to lose our intimate resort feeling, but it does mean you can expect resort improvements for this winter. Village wide wireless internet is now available through Whispar Wireless. The Delta Residences new 41 suite hotel featuring one and two bedroom units with high end finishings opens this October 2007. A new 3500 square foot resort grocery store will also open this year along with a high performance ski and snowboard rental shop. The terrain park continues to grow this season with expansion of the intermediate terrain park. Grooming will also be improved with the purchase of two new Pisten Bully snow cats.
